Welcome to JoomlaGuro your place for tips, tricks in getting your Joomla powered websites up and running smoothly. This site hopes to fully take advantage the world’s most loved open content management system Joomla, which is used around the world for creating/deploying personal, corporate, school websites.
Managing and publishing content is never been easy with Joomla, I’m going share to you what I know about these systems, so you can better get a grasp and control of your contents, the do’s and don’t in publishing. I remember, two years ago, way back 2006 while I was undergoing training on joomla, sponsored under BEAM I was quite intimidated by it (and of course scared), simply because of the technical jargon involved, and it was relatively quite new to me. I always wanted to develop a website, but it requires time and patience, then I heard about Dreamweaver being offered by Adobe, but I never really took hands on it simply because it was technically quite hard for a beginner, that is supposed to be handled by web developers which I am not well adept.
Anyways, I was trained for one week on the workaround of joomla system, and another one week for the deployment and publishing of contents, from there I said wow! this is great! it’s never been this so easy, right on, I appreciated the beauty of Joomla, the rest on I continue reading the how to’s from forums and books that I loved digging around and shared it to the rest of those in need.
Before, one could setup a joomla-powered website, one must know the prerequisites involved, that is; what contents are you going to publish? and how it will be organized in such a way it will be more useful to users, the navigation, the user friendliness of the site, minus the clutters, too much scrolling makes the users/visitors shy way and therefore, no chances of the visitors of coming back (visitors loyalty I may say, they’d be better look for better and relevant contents).
Keep on visiting and invite others.
Thanks
